Before starting this book I would like to explain my meaning of certain words which might otherwise be associated with different concepts, thereby causing misunderstanding.
As, in my view, men and women had two separate evolutions, the term "man" will refer to the human male and not to mankind as a whole.
The term "opportunism" will be intended as the practice of taking the best advantage of objective circumstances in any given moment, with no regard for principles or ultimate consequences.
The word "brain" will mean the organ of thought. "Intelligence" will mean the understanding of nature and its laws. The "mind" will mean the brain's special faculty of creating abstract, supernatural, or transcendental ideas.
Homo sapiens will mean man with a developed mind, capable of abstract thinking.
