Jon Rappoport News Archive

FRIDAY, MARCH 29. At the end of a Reuters piece about the skyrocketing use of Ritalin and Prozac and Zoloft and Paxil by schoolchildren, there is this gem: "...some worry that not treating children with ADHD or depression could result in social and academic problems in the long run."

I'm sure some do worry. There is the social problem of not being able to keep up payments on the BMW and the house if the drug house you work for isn't selling enough toxic meds. That could be a major problem.

And there is the academic problem of not getting enough research grants and lab funding if you work in that area, and if the use of these meds declines.

I recall that when I went to school, there was no ADHD or clinical depression. Academic performance was at a higher level than it is now. There was less violence in schools. Much less. Ritalin was not given to kids. There was no Prozac.

Psychiatrists were not connected to schools.

So whose delusions are we talking about?
