WBM#68: Where & How Should I Start?

by Frederick Mann

(Excerpt from WealthBooster Magazine -- Issue #68 -- February 28, 2002)

In order to succeed, not only on the Internet, but in life generally, it helps if you design your actions so that they are likely to produce the results you want.

A certain percentage of people need to learn the mechanics of writing an email. Make sure you get the email address right. Use copy-and-paste. Make sure you write an appropriate subject. If it's required to include certain details in your email, be sure to include them.

Probably about 10% of people don't realize the above. I receive hundreds of emails a day, and about 10% fail the above criteria.

Success Arsenal!(sm) includes the e-book Real 'Secrets' of Success! which addresses, why some actions don't work very well, better than any other book I know of. Over the years, I've often been asked, "Where do I start?" The answer: Real 'Secrets' of Success!

Dale Armin Miller, creator of Success Arsenal!(sm), indicates that over the years, he's noticed that successful people always include all the necessary details in an email and they get them right.

About 10% of people have not learned the importance of doing simple things right. You may be one of them. If you are not succeeding, this may be an important reason why.

Closely related to the above is the ability to read and follow simple instructions. Suppose you join a program by paying a certain amount to an e-gold account and including your name and email address in the memo field. In my experience, about 15% of people fail to do this correctly.

If you're not succeeding on the Internet (and in life generally), it could be because you're your own worst enemy. You sabotage yourself by screwing up the simplest of actions.

If you're incapable of consistently performing simple actions -- designed to achieve what you want -- correctly, how can you succeed when it comes to outcomes that require more complex actions for success?

The place for you to start, even if you're not interested in marketing, may be Real 'Secrets' of Success!, so you can acquire the mindset of doing things right!

Many people send me personal emails every day, wanting me to do something, for example, access a website to look at a program. About 90% of them put zero thought into designing their email to persuade me to spend time on looking at their program.

Some people even send condescending, patronizing, and insulting stuff in their emails. It's almost as if they put some thought into how to design their emails to create an unfavorable impression and maximize the chances that I will ignore them! Such people are most likely their own worst enemies in a big way!

Next we come to people trying to earn money with our Private Programs. For many people, this is the best way to earn money because they don't have to sell or recruit in order to succeed. However, they do have to make intelligent decisions.

In order to make intelligent decisions, you have to learn a few things. On our Private Programs page there is considerable information on what you need to learn to succeed. There are also links to other important information.

In WBM#64, I talked about the "franchise principle." I indicated that about 90% of new businesses fail during their first year, while about 70% or more of franchises succeed.

The information on Bigbooster and its links can be regarded as "franchise manuals" that tell you what to do to succeed. So people have a choice: Learn the principles, procedures, strategies, and tactics -- and enjoy a 70% or higher probability of success -- or don't bother to learn -- and try to make money with a 90% probability of failure.

I don't know what percentage of people "choose" (usually by default) to operate with a 90% probability of failure, but I suspect it's well above 10%... maybe even more than 50%!

Possibly there are psychological reasons why some people sabotage their success. They may need to "get their head straight" before they can learn to do things right. A good place for them to start may be Idenics.

One client wrote:

"Hi Mike: Thank you for our session. I now see myself from a new perspective that I find refreshing and fascinating! Idenics provided me with a valuable tool to use in my life long journey of self-improvement. I look forward to future sessions." -- T.M.
