The lone saboteur was Ayn Rand with her epic Atlas Shrugged. Yet, she and her great work were trapped in purgatory -- trapped in the unbridgeable gulf between this anticivilization and the Civilization of the Universe.
By contrast, an evolving primary epic called Quantum Crossings will reveal a dramatic mind-altering journey for all conscious beings. A journey from this anticivilization into the Civilization of the Universe. In Quantum Crossings, the protagonist, Iu, in a life-and-death race for planet Earth, crafts twelve keys to open twelve gates that allow conscious beings to jump across the twelve unbridgeable gulfs leading to the Civilization of the Universe.
[ 13 ] Acting without sufficient knowledge and contrary to Objectivism, both Rand and Peikoff subjectively, emotionally attacked Immanuel Kant as "the most evil person who ever lived". When, in fact, Kant was a kind, gentle person who through a lifetime of hard, sincere work produced a key value for mankind: He comprehensively integrated and systematized the philosophy underlying the irrationality dominating this civilization. Thus, Kant's work serves as a valuable servant for advancing Objectivism. By juxtaposing his articulated philosophical system against Objectivism, Earth's anticivilization can finally be understood. Only with that understanding can this criminal-driven civilization be undermined, sabotaged, then finally collapsed and vanished. ...Eternal thanks must be given to Kant, Rand, Peikoff, and fully integrated honesty for the coming Objectivist civilization -- for the coming business-driven Civilization of the Universe.
[ 14 ] The modern or existential writers of the 20th century such as Proust, Joyce, Sartre, and Beckett do not hold the civilization-determining power of the classicists. Kafka and Camus are two exceptions: Kafka for his "The Law" and his "Writing Machine" (in which the jailer changes places with the prisoner to understand justice) serve to symbolize the metaphysics of this anticivilization; and Camus for his projecting love and happiness as the noble pursuits in this anticivilization. Also, Faulkner captures the soul of dishonest journalists and Letterman-type nihilists. Indeed, their sound and fury mean nothing. Still, Sartre's Nausea and Beckett's Godot in their Theaters of the Absurd are correct. Even from feminist/lesbian poet Adrienna Rich, we learn and advance. For, this is the anticivilization. And, their work brought forth the understanding needed to sabotage the anticivilization out of existence.
