Our first forerunner to the coming great Technological Revolution is the computer revolution. You can buy today computer power for a couple hundred dollars that would have cost millions a few years ago. Soon, over the Internet, all that power will be essentially free. That spectacular escalation of buying power comes from Neo-Tech, short for super rapidly advancing new (Neo) technology (Tech). Now Neo-Tech has begun to spread into the telecommunications and television industries. As with the computers, costs to communicate will begin to plunge toward zero as services and buying power begin to soar toward infinity. The unfolding telecommunications and television revolutions will be the next forerunners to the coming great Technological Revolution. As telephones and televisions advance from being our favorite fishing holes of entertainment to being powerful streams flowing into the Internet, the floodgates of knowledge will open. Neo-Tech will inevitably spread to all industries. Costs of all products and services will eventually plunge toward zero, as happened to computers; buying power over everything will soar toward infinity. Imagine, as happened to the computers, your couple hundred dollars today having the buying power of millions in a few years. The ordinary person would be rich. The coming great Technological Revolution, also called the Neo-Tech Revolution, will be the next historic advancement of civilization since the Industrial Revolution. However, whereas only the industrialists became rich during the Industrial Revolution, everyone will become rich during the Neo-Tech Revolution.
First, the medical catastrophe: Hollywood movies have begun showing up this
decade with the dreaded theme of near human extinction from deadly new viruses.
Unfortunately, those Hollywood movies depict a very real threat to mankind.
Antibiotics are steadily losing potency, for bacterial infections are steadily
gaining strength by mutating and adapting to a world laced with antibiotics.
For the first time in several decades, medicine is losing ground quickly to
infectious diseases. Moreover, virulent new viruses are making the jump from
animals such as monkeys to humans as mankind inhabits new parts of the world.
In today's world of extensive air travel, scientists and doctors fear a new era
of virulent pandemics that could swiftly travel across the globe and, like the
Super Flu of 1918 which came from a pig, infect up to half the human race or
more, killing tens of millions of people.
Second, the economic catastrophe: Companies are downsizing. When a
middle-aged person with a good salary loses his job today, his family "goes
through hell". To get a comparable job is nearly out the question. Usually,
that person ends up in a low-paying hourly job with little or no benefits. His
family's standard of living plunges and stays there indefinitely. The family
has to adjust to a low life-style. The middle class as a whole is steadily
sinking toward poverty. The standard of living continues to drop. More and
more young adults cannot leave home to go out on their own. And the older
adults will continue to be hit the hardest as we sink.
Third, the criminal catastrophe: Police increasingly report aggressive
violence and severe bitterness among ten and eleven-year-old children. As this
aggressive violence and deep bitterness shows up in younger and younger age
groups, our children's schools become threatened. Some already have become war
zones for drug gangs. Moreover, as crime proliferates, it comes into our own
neighborhoods. All along, crime grows more and more violent. In some
neighborhoods, killings have become a normal part of life. That cavalier
attitude toward violent death is spreading.
The next 25 years could be catastrophic, but the fast approaching Neo-Tech Era
of new technologies not only can circumvent, but can actually reverse the
emerging Catastrophic Era of great catastrophes. For example, only new medical
technologies advancing at lightning speeds like computer technologies could
outrace the rapidly evolving infectious diseases. Indeed, Neo-Tech -- new
technology racing ahead like computer technology -- can eradicate all diseases
once it begins to drive the medical industry. Until now, Neo-Tech has driven
forward the computer industry only. As a result, both computer breakthroughs
and computer buying power soared toward infinity. As in the computer industry,
Neo-Tech not only will bring us rapid breakthroughs, but will drive all costs
toward zero. So as Neo-Tech begins to drive forward the medical industry,
medical costs will collapse like the computers. We will all be able to afford
excellent medical care. Everyone will easily afford all medical cures and
breakthroughs. Everyone will enjoy near-perfect health.
Not only would diseases be cured, but so would the economy. In short, as
Neo-Tech begins to drive all industries, prices of everything will go to
fractions as your buying power over everything multiplies manyfold. As in the
computer world where all computer consumers became computer rich as their
buying power multiplied thousands of times, all consumers everywhere will
become rich...even those on minimum wage or set pensions.
You will live like a healthy millionaire in a world as safe as Disneyland.
That's right, crime will essentially disappear in the Neo-Tech Era. As
ordinary people become essentially multi-millionaires without lifting a finger,
the incentive for crime will become obsolete. For, it will be far easier to
get rich by doing nothing than through risky crime.
In short, the fast approaching Neo-Tech Revolution will save us from the plunge
into a quarter-century-long era of plagues, poverty, and violence. And all
just in the nick of time.
With that in mind, this book shows the people the Neo-Tech World -- the better
world in which everyone would live like a millionaire. Once enough people see
that rich world, we will be in it almost overnight. No more zigzags. No more
delays. Positive megatrends will turn into stampedes. For, the people will
know the way of a more profitable world.
With our new power and wealth, we will actually rediscover passionate love and
youthful romance. The reason all that fades after we first passionately fall
in love has to do with our stagnation-traps today. Miserably stagnated, we
cannot give much of ourselves any longer. The love fades and romance dies.
But stimulated by honest power, lots of wealth and big-shot success, we will
have a lot to give as well as a lot to be steamed up over. Power, success,
wealth will transform even the most boring spouse sinking in stagnation into a
vibrant shaker and doer thriving on life. That person will have a lot to feel
good about and will want to share the good times with his spouse. As we forget
about stagnation and become wealthy, powerful, and successful, we will
rediscover and even surpass the passion and romance we once had.
Moreover, we will recapture the slim and sexy body we had in our prime. You
see, as we grow older and more stagnated today, we tend to eat too much and
gain weight out of boredom. Let's face it, today life is boring. But
tomorrow, as we become rich and powerful, life will never be slow or boring.
We will never slow down. We will be too busy living, too busy to be overweight
as the sexy, slim body returns. Our sex lives will be generously rewarded.
And that's not all: We will discover and surpass the creativity of youth. As
demonstrated by scientists in today's world, our creativity leaves us in our
30s. Major advancements in physics, for instance, are made by the young
creative physicists. But in tomorrow's Neo-Tech World, we will discover an
entirely new way of using our minds. You see, tomorrow's Neo-Tech World will
be a world of super prolific information. As Neo-Tech begins to drive the
information highway, our minds will rise to an awesome level. We will become
omnipotent as we snap together information all around us into growing success
puzzles. As the puzzles come together, they will reveal puzzle pictures never
seen before, making us creative geniuses. Our minds will no longer be stuck in
their routine ruts, such small spheres of thoughts...wasting away in
stagnation. Instead, our minds will be open, far reaching and creative. And
the older we become, the more information we will accumulate to snap together
into bigger and bigger success puzzles, revealing bigger and bigger creative
puzzle pictures. Our creativity will actually grow with age. Moreover, our
children will grow up that way -- knowing how to integrate success puzzles and
be creative.
Also, in tomorrow's Neo-Tech World, I dare say all our bad habits will
disappear. You see, all bad habits are done for the same reason -- for
stimulation in our otherwise boring lives. Think about your own bad habits for
a moment. They are done for stimulation, whatever the bad habits are, from
watching too much TV to doing destructive drugs. But in tomorrow's Neo-Tech
World, the stimulation from living like millionaires with power, love, looks,
and omnipotence will overwhelm all else. Bad habits will vanish overnight.
We can go the way of near-perfect health or virulent diseases that will claim
the lives of some of our very own loved ones. We can go the way of Disneyland
safety or neighborhood violence. We can go the way of exciting jobs or routine
ruts or, worse, unemployment and despair. We can go the way of passionate love
or failed love. We can go the way of a nice body or an over-the-hill body
heading toward the end. We can go the way of a stimulated mind or miserable
stagnation. We can go the way of creative children or illiterate airheads. We
can go the way of millionaire wealth or poverty. In short, our greatest dreams
can come true, or our worst nightmares can haunt us, our parents, and our
children. This book opens the door to the former...the better world.

Vital Timing
The Neo-Tech Revolution is coming to us in the nick of time, for civilization
is on the brink of some major catastrophes, all of which can be circumvented by
Neo-Tech. For example, I'll mention three catastrophes lurking ahead: 1) new
viruses and drug-resistant bacterial mutations could break out into
uncontrollable world-sweeping pandemics 2) the middle class could sink into
poverty, and 3) our suburbs and schools could become war zones for violent
crime.The Delay
Forces in big government and big business are hampering and delaying the vital
Neo-Tech Revolution, causing mankind to flirt with disaster. The next 25 years
could be catastrophic with deadly worldwide pandemics, a middle-class that
collapses into poverty, and violence in our schools and neighborhoods. If the
Neo-Tech Era of millionaire wealth, near-perfect health, a super-safe self is
delayed too long, we will sink into the Catastrophic Era, perhaps for the next
25 years. In that relentlessly approaching Catastrophic Era, every reader, yes
your life would be invaded by the three catastrophes of virulent
disease, unprecedented poverty, and violent crime. Life would become hard. Of
course, the Neo-Tech Era would rescue us from those hardships. Life would
become easy.The Counterforce
All throughout history, once people could see a better world, they could not be
stopped and quickly entered that better world. The most recent example came
through the invention of satellite TV. Because of satellite TV, people in the
former Soviet Empire for the first time saw the better world of the West and
stunned the world as they almost overnight dumped the oppressive forces.Becoming Young Again
Aside from millionaire wealth, near-perfect health, and a super-safe self...we
will experience things we once dreamed about like a job we love, youthful
romance, a slim and sexy body, and an awesome mind. As Neo-Tech begins to
drive all businesses, for instance, our routine-rut jobs and unemployment will
get replaced with an abundance of exciting jobs that embellish us with
opportunity as now seen in the computer world driven by Neo-Tech. We will no
longer suffer in silent frustration. Instead, we will discover what it means
to be exhilarated by our jobs and big-shot success. We will discover honest
power. My Motivation
When you look ahead, the future can be frightening with surging virulent
diseases, violent crime, a shrinking job base, sinking standards of living,
skyrocketing divorce, and epidemic obesity. I have a beautiful wife and little
girl. When my little girl was less than a year old, she got a bad case of the
croup, which can be fatal in infants. As she struggled with that respiratory
virus, complicated by a drug-resistant ear infection and high fever, I suddenly
realized her future was in jeopardy because of aggressively evolving diseases.
The fork in the road became clear to me then. Throughout history when
civilization reached world-changing forks in the road, certain people who
understood the historic significance did everything in their power to influence
the way of the world toward prosperity. Like them, I determined to do
everything I could to tip the scales for the Neo-Tech Era so we never know the
wrath of the Catastrophic Era. Obviously, once people get a glimpse of the
Neo-Tech World and its millionaire wealth coming to everyone, good things will
happen very fast. So I wrote this book to illustrate that rich world. The
future can be glorious, not tragic.
