Outcompete God and Government

The Music Connection

How can parasitically exploited adults once again glimpse the eternal Civilization of the Universe? A conduit for emotionally glimpsing aspects of the C of U is integrated music -- such as universally appealing classical/romantic music.

For example, consider the longings for life by those last to die before nature's Quintessential Secret delivers non-aging biological immortality to everyone. Such longings are poignantly expressed in Antonin Dvorák's New World Symphony, second movement, during his reflections on Longfellow's Song of Hiawatha. Also, as another example, a verse from the Norwegian National Anthem is dedicated to the romantic composer, Edvard Grieg. That verse reflects nature suddenly viewed from the Civilization of the Universe:

"He walked here beside me
the great tone poet.
I heard the water flow with a lovelier cadence.
And, never in the world before,
no matter how often I had trod the same path
had I understood completely
how dear nature had become to me in this place."

Nature is so lovely and dear because it is the most marvelous creation of neothinking man -- of Zon, the creator of universes. He created nature for the most-efficient "deistic" generation of human values distributed through his universal business dynamics.

The collaboration of Edvard Grieg with the famous playwright Henrik Ibsen on Peer Gynt emotionally reflects redemption from the anticivilization by the abiding love of a woman named Solveig who waited a lifetime to bring the Civilization of the Universe to Peer Gynt.

The Requiem by the French composer Gabriel Fauré expresses the happy escape from death in the anticivilization to eternal prosperity in the C of U.

Even the long-ignored and ridiculed composer César Franck[ 15 ] presents distant C-of-U music as do "heavenly" Mozart, Beethoven, and other wide-scope integrating composers.

Sibelius and his Finlandia were inspired by nature, freedom, and businessmen.

And, who was not taken beyond this world by Stanley Kubrick's 2001 Space Odyssey music from Richard Strauss's[ 16 ] Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

Andrew Lloyd Webber through his Phantom of the Opera recognized that love and music were everything in this anticivilization.

As one visitor to the Neo-Tech/Zon web site asked, "In some profound sense is the Universe a song?" Yes, through the unified integration of metaphysics and epistemology -- through the objective unity of metaphorical Gravity Units and Thinkons -- the Universe is a song. For example, through tone poems, Neo-Tech can interconnect knowledge, emotions, and things into a Universe -- differentia into a single objective unity -- as will be demonstrated by the forthcoming operatic oratorio titled NQS: Life Immortal. ...NQS -- Nature's Quintessential Secret -- is the Universe unified into a poem song.[ 17 ]

Visiting the C of U via Music

New knowledge arises from recognizing the honesty of widely integrated music. Integrated music includes most classical music, much romantic-era music along with baroque music such as Bach's music revealing exquisite beauty, and certain "romantic/modern" music such as Rachmaninoff's Theme of Paganini revealing the victory of a rational devil...and even certain Renaissance music such as the enduring Greensleeves and the works of Palestrina. Integrated music represents a rich source of C-of-U entities existing in Earth's anticivilization. That music along with mathematics and prime numbers would be the most basic, immediately recognized form of emotional and intellectual communication among civilizations throughout the Universe.

Note the following three gems of new knowledge that arise from recognizing the universality of widely integrated music:

Gem #1. Consider two antithetical philosophers: the great optimist Aristotle and the great pessimist Schopenhauer. Surprisingly, they both come from the same implicit sensing of the anticivilization on Earth versus the Civilization of the Universe. The sum-total implication of Aristotle was that the most desired life on Earth is the contemplative life. The sum-total implication of Schopenhauer was that the only worthwhile value on Earth is music. Both philosophers were coming from the implicit rejection of Earth's anticivilization in seeking the Civilization of the Universe. Through contemplation, Aristotle created a basically honest primacy-of-existence philosophy like that of the C of U. While Schopenhauer created a basically dishonest primacy-of-consciousness philosophy like that of Earth's anticivilization.

Aristotle hated irrationality, but loved his rational, mind-created C of U. Thus, he desired to escape the irrational Pericles/Plato anticivilization by living in his contemplated rational civilization. Schopenhauer hated the anticivilization, but loved classical music. Thus, he desired to escape the inhuman anticivilization by living in a world of music that belonged to the C of U. ...On understanding the relationships among the anticivilization, the C of U, and music, one sees Aristotle and Schopenhauer as twins in rejecting life in the anticivilization and seeking life in the Civilization of the Universe.

Gem #2. Two seemingly contradictory, yet preeminent positions for Neo-Tech since 1976 are (1) the high probability of countless, far-more advanced civilizations throughout the universe combined with (2) the improbability of extraterrestrial life ever visiting Earth. For, those countless advanced civilizations would have no economic or scientific incentive to visit Earth's civilization as detailed in the Neo-Tech "Long Wave" document published in 1985 by I & O Publishing Company.

Now, today, comes perhaps one reason for not-too-far-advanced civilizations to expend the time and energy to contact Earth -- to get its unique, individual-composed, conceptual music! Indeed, Earth's widely integrated music delivers universal pleasures and, thus, represents commercial values to other civilizations. ...Earth's anticivilization has no values to offer advanced civilizations, except possibly its uniquely individualistic forms of emotional concepts expressed as music and art of universal beauty.

Gem #3. Mortals value time because their time of life is limited. Immortals would not value time because their time of life is unlimited. Those two statements are not only false but the reverse is the fact. That paradox can be understood once one identifies the separate natures of the anticivilization versus the C of U -- separate natures connected only by C-of-U essences of music, mathematics, physics, chemistry, creativity, business, and positive emotions such as love and happiness:

In the anticivilization, those most pressured for every moment of time are intensely creative, highly successful businesspeople, Nobel-status scientists, high-tech genius creators midst fast-track competitive pressures...and driven-to-collapse creators of C-of-U music and art as often happens to composers, artists, and authors of universal value. ...Such time-valuing, high-pressured, competitive value producers are generally the most happily prosperous people on Earth.

Those intense time seekers are pressed for capturing every bit of time for maximum use not because they are mortals with only limited life available. Instead, they are desperate for time because of the high-intensity pressures and excitement to create and produce competitively -- before their opportunity or inspiration is lost to competition, obsolescence, or time-wasting distractions.

The high-intensity, exciting business and creative nature of immortals in the C of U would by nature experience even greater valuation of time in their ever more pleasurably intense and excitingly competitive lives as experienced by the greatest value producers. ...Such value producers are precious few in the anticivilization, but are essentially everyone in the C of U.

* * *

Consider the mathematical/music glimpse toward the Civilization of the Universe: Does a quick, simple way exist to factor prime numbers of any length? What are the mathematical harmonies of the neothink mind relative to the dynamics of universal existence? Is the entire Universe a quantum computer functioning as a communication/business/cybercash entity? Is the Universe a web site with push-pull technology available to access value-producing information and products at various levels of knowledge across the Cosmos? ...The C of U with its Quintessential Secret holds those answers.

Footnotes:

[ 15 ] Franck's other-world work was recognized, decades after his death, by Marcel Proust, the noted French author of the stupefying, what-is-it-all-about 13-volume, Remembrance of Things Past. Hiring musicians to play Franck's music, Proust transported himself out of this anticivilization to "another world". Thus, Proust avoided suicide.

[ 16 ] As an aside, whist card-killer Richard Strauss was the soul mate to Wallace's fictional poker card-killer John Finn - "ancestor" of Huckleberry Finn.

[ 17 ] Pathagoras (580-500 B.C), although a mystic, did combine the C-of-U mind/emotion elements of mathematics and music. And, mythical Orpheus used C-of-U music to retrieve his beloved Eurydice from the netherworld of Hades. Through his music, Orpheus crashed through the mind defenses of the underworld rulers, including their leader, Pluto. ...Likewise, NQS is designed to crash through the mind defenses of the anticivilization rulers to usher in the Civilization of the Universe.
