(Note on word usage: Some political words, like "government," "state," "country," "nation," "law," etc., may not represent reality very well (they are often used to mislead) -- see Political Fakery? and the "Concept Formation" and "Does the government really exist?" videos. However, it would be difficult to communicate without using such words, so I'm using "government*," "state*," "country*," "nation*" and "law*." Heartburn: Introduction to Victimization

At the time I wrote the original version of this section, there was a series on heartburn -- also called "GERD" or gastroesophageal reflux disease -- on a certain TV network that employs a "resident physician" (medical editor). The theory the TV news anchor and medical editor promote is that heartburn is caused by a faulty valve at the top your stomach, just below your esophagus. The supposedly "faulty valve" allows stomach acid to rise from your stomach into your esophagus, causing the burning sensation we know as "heartburn."

According to the resident TV physician and the news anchor, the solution is to take antacids to neutralize the "excess acid." In some cases it may be necessary to take prescription drugs to reduce the amount of acid created in your stomach. The TV station also airs advertisements for a certain "purple prescription pill" that's supposed to correct damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid. The TV network probably earns millions from these ads. The drug company that sells the "purple prescription pill" probably earns billions.

So the "conventional heartburn theory" is very profitable for the drug companies and the TV networks who air the "antacid ads." What if the commonly accepted "remedies" in the long run make heartburn worse, increasing the demand for antacids? The drug companies would earn even more. What if some of the drugs have side effects that result in doctors describing other drugs? The drug companies would earn even more.

Now consider an alternative theory. As you age, your stomach produces less acid -- sometimes not enough to digest your food. After you've eaten, if there's not enough acid in your stomach to digest the food, gas is generated. The gas puts pressure on your esophageal valve (more accurately, your "lower esophageal sphincter" or "LES") and opens it. Acid rises through your LES and you experience heartburn. Paradoxically, the heartburn is a signal that your stomach needs more acid. So you take some apple cider vinegar (acid), dilute it with water, and drink it. Within a minute or so the heartburn is gone. Your stomach uses the extra acid to help digest your food. No problems with side effects or worsening the heartburn condition.

Part of the remedy for heartburn could simply be to drink more water. Another part of the remedy may be to stop eating the foods that lead to your heartburn. In any case, you may never need to buy anything other than apple cider vinegar to treat your heartburn. (Though, part of the remedy may be to also take digestive enzymes.)

You can buy a bottle of apple cider vinegar for $3-$4 or less. If you use it to treat your heartburn, you may find that you experience heartburn less frequently. You may only need to take apple cider vinegar once or twice a week. Your bottle costing $3-$4 or less may last several months.

If the "alternative heartburn theory" is correct, then heartburn sufferers can treat their condition easily, inexpensively, and without visiting a doctor for a prescription. If enough people were to switch their "allegiance" from the conventional to the alternative theory, the drug companies, TV networks, and doctors would earn less money -- a lot less!

If the TV medical editor and the news anchor were to tell viewers about the alternative theory, they might be ordered to issue a "correction" or "retraction." They might even be fired. It's in the interest of the TV network and drug companies to push the conventional heartburn theory all they can. Billions are at stake.

But what if the alternative theory is correct? If so, then heartburn sufferers would be massively victimized by following the advice of the resident TV physician, the news anchor, the drug companies' antacid ads, and the doctors who prescribe antacids. What if the conventional heartburn theory is a massive fraud and a hoax -- a scam to victimize the gullible?

Why would the drug companies and TV networks promote such a hoax? Because they earn billions. If the alternative theory were correct, and they were to promote that, the billions in earnings would disappear.

You can do your own research to determine which of the two theories is more plausible. Do Google searches for +heartburn +"apple cider vinegar," +heartburn +naturopath, and +heartburn +"natural cure." If you or anyone you know experiences heartburn, you and/or your contacts can take some diluted apple cider vinegar and see what happens.

(Note: The heartburn issue can be complicated by medications that produce heartburn as a side effect. There are literally dozens of medications that may relax the LES, making it easier for stomach acid to rise into the esophagus. These medications can produce the apparency of a "faulty valve" condition. Do a Google search for +medications +"cause heartburn" to compile a list. (Smoking may also relax the LES.) If you're currently taking medications that cause you heartburn, you may want to explore alternatives such as "natural cures" for the conditions the medications are intended to treat. Part of your solution may be to stop taking the medications in question, or to reduce your dosages. Some people can get caught up in a vicious circle. They may suffer from chest pains associated with their heartburn. Some doctors call these chest pains "pseudo angina." Other doctors may prescribe medications to treat the misdiagnosed "angina." However, these medications may cause more severe heartburn and make the associated chest pains worse.)

*************************

After much reading, observation, and reflection I've come to the conclusion that one of the the world's biggest problems is victimization. Typical dictionary definition of "victim":

  1. A person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action or agency: a victim of an automobile accident.
  2. One who is harmed or killed by another: a victim of a mugging.
  3. A person who is deceived or cheated, as by his or her own emotions or ignorance, by the dishonesty of others, or by some impersonal agency: a victim of misplaced confidence; the victim of a swindler; a victim of an optical illusion.
  4. A person who suffers injury, loss, or death as a result of a voluntary undertaking: You are a victim of your own scheming.
  5. A person who is tricked, swindled, or taken advantage of: the victim of a cruel hoax.
  6. A person or animal sacrificed or regarded as sacrificed: war victims.
  7. One who is harmed by or made to suffer from an act, circumstance, agency, or condition: victims of war.
  8. A living creature sacrificed during a religious rite.

Note that you can be victimized by others and you can also victimize yourself.

In the box to the right, "R.T." says: "I'm not worth s_ _t for anything." This is an example of self-victimization. Most likely it's also the surface description of a deep imprint.

Most people (maybe there are no exceptions) have been victimized in multiple ways, and have been negatively affected by the forms of victimization they've suffered. Victimization tends to make people less powerful and more helpless.

Consider the possibility that my heartburn example of victimization is merely a small tip of a giant iceberg -- that massive victimization occurs practically all the time practically everywhere on earth.

In my experience, among people trying to make money online, a high percentage (probably over 95%) use their minds more to harm themselves than to help themselves. R.T. serves as an example. For the 98-99% trying to make money online, who meet with little or no success, victimizing themselves as a result of deep imprints may be a root cause.. That certainly seems to apply to "CHM" -- see box to the right.

Article in The Arizona Republic of August 4th, 2007: Acid blockers may up dementia risk in older Blacks

By Thomas H. Maugh II -- Los Angeles Times

Elderly Black people who are chronic users of acid-inhibiting drugs in the family that includes Zantac, Pepcid and Tagamet have 2½ times the normal risk of developing dementia, Indiana researchers reported Friday.

The drugs block production of stomach acid by inhibiting histamine-2 receptors. The stomach releases hydrochloric acid when stimulated by histamines. But they also inhibit the brain's cholinergic system which is involved in memory and cognition.

Low levels of cholinergic activity have been linked to dementia.

In the past, there have been hints that the drugs, known as histamine-2 receptor antagonists, might be linked to dementia, but previous studies have come down on both sides of the question, said Dr. John Morris of Washington University in St. Louis, who was not involved in the study.

"This is certainly not the final word on the potential risk of these drugs," he said. "But what it tells us is that, for older adults, drug use should be considered very carefully."

Dr. Constantine G. Lyketsos, a psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins University, who was not involved in the study, added: "This is one of the medicines we worry about when people with Alzheimer's are taking them. It can make memory worse and lead to confusion. Whether they will make it more likely that someone will develop Alzheimer's dementia is still an open question."

GlaxoSmithKline, which manufactures Tagamet and Zantac, did not return calls seeking comment.

The study did not look at Whites, and there was not enough data to suggest a risk from a different family of acid-inhibiting drugs called "proton-pump inhibitors," which include Prilosec, Nexium and Prevacid.

The histamine-2 receptor antagonists are among the most commonly prescribed drugs in the United xStatesx with more than 16 million prescriptions dispensed in 2005 in addition to over-the-counter sales. They are used to treat ulcers, acid reflux and other gastrointestinal disorders.

The study, published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, was conducted by Dr. Malaz Boustani, a geriatrician at Indiana University School of Medicine.

(Note: In an interview published in The Arizona Republic of April 24th, 2007, Phoenix physician Dr. Art Molen (who regularly appears on radio and TV) said: "For years, people have taken Tums, Maalox and Mylanta to reduce acidity. Now prescription medicines known as proton-pump inhibitors, including Nexium, Protonix, Prilosec and Aciphex have become the gold standard." He was asked about natural remedies, but didn't mention apple cider vinegar.)

How Have You Been Victimized?

You may have been victimized at the time of your conception by inheriting weak or destructive genes from your parents and other ancestors.

You may have been victimized in the womb by injurious actions from your mother (drinking, smoking, taking drugs, poor eating habits, etc.), or by physical attacks against your mother that harmed you.

During birth you may have been hurt by the doctor who delivered you.

As a child, your parents may have subjected you to intellectual, emotional, and/or physical abuse. They may have taught you that they were "authorities who had to be obeyed"; that certain things were "true because they said so" or "everybody knows that." You may have become "addicted to unhappiness". On the TV show My Name is Earl, Earl's father said to Earl: "You always find a way to ruin things." Such a statement can act like a "victimizing curse" and a self-fulfilling prophesy. It can become a Core Identity Belief. The same applies to R.T.'s. "I'm not worth s_ _t for anything."

You were probably "forced to go to school" -- "involuntary confinement?" -- "cruel and usual punishment?" The teachers may have taught you a number of "lessons":

  1. Confusion. John Taylor Gatto admits that everything he teaches is out of context.
  2. Class position. Children must know their place and stay in the class where they belong. "The children are numbered so that if any get away they can be returned to the right class."
  3. Indifference. "Nothing important is ever finished in my class nor in any class I know of."
  4. Emotional dependency. Gatto says that he teaches children to surrender their will to the chain of command, using "stars and red checks, smiles and frowns, prizes, honors and disgraces."
  5. Intellectual dependency. The most important lesson. Children must wait for the expert authority to make all the important decisions, to tell them what to study. There is no place for curiosity, only conformity.
  6. Provisional self-esteem. Because it is so difficult to make self-confident spirits conform, children must be taught that their self-respect depends on expert opinion. They must be constantly tested, evaluated, judged, graded, and reported on by certified officials. Self-evaluation is irrelevant - "people must be told what they are worth."
  7. You can't hide. Children are always watched. No privacy. People can't be trusted.

According to Gatto (author of Dumbing Us Down: The Hidden Curriculum of Compulsory Schooling and The Underground History of American Education), these are the consequences of the seven lessons:

See Are Our Schools Concentration Campuses for Mind Destruction?

According to Alan C. Walter

"Early academics considered the masses and peasants to be fools and idiots, uncontrollable and highly dangerous if allowed learning of any sort. Generation after generation, these attitudes have been handed down to teachers.

The basic teaching viewpoint is, "You don't know, therefore shut up, sit still, keep quiet, and listen."

But don't blame the teachers; after all, they were once pupils.

Spending ten to fifteen years in a submissive pose of, "Shut up, sit still, keep quiet, and listen," definitely will cause the student to form viewpoints of fear: "I'd better not speak up," "I shouldn't have my own point of view," and "I'd better not get involved," these are the types of precepts that set a person up to unknowingly play destructive games."

Did you get bullied and/or do some bullying yourself?

Did you learn any "religious lessons" that may have contributed to you becoming a victim and/or a victimizer?

How have you been victimized in any of your jobs? How have you victimized others at work?

Have you been victimized by police, bureaucrats, soldiers, tax collectors, lawyers, etc?

How about the medical profession and prescription drugs?

Are you overweight or obese? ...Victimizing yourself through poor eating habits?

How else have you been victimized and/or victimized others?

From The Times -- October 9, 2006

I'm oppressed, you're oppressed, we are all oppressed: the victim culture

Do we live in a victim culture? Join the debate

By Anthony Browne, Chief Political Correspondent

THE vast majority of people in Britain are officially oppressed, according to a report that claims we have become a "xnationx of victims".

The study calculates that 73 per cent of Britons are members of officially recognised "victim groups", including the disabled, women, ethnic minorities and homosexuals. [emphasis added] Each group is given xgovernmentx support, including protective legislation.

The report, We're (Nearly) All Victims Now, by the socially conservative think-tank Civitas, gives warning that the rise of a "victimocracy" undermines democracy because people are no longer considered equal under law.

"We have become a xnationx of victims," it says. "Victimhood today is a political status that is sought after because of the advantages it brings, including preferential treatment in the workplace, the possibility of using police power to silence unwelcome critics, and financial compensation. To be classified as a victim is to be given a special political status, which has no necessary connection with real hardship or oppression."

In October next year the xGovernmentx is setting up the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, which merges the disability, race and equal opportunities commissions.

Many people, such as black women, are victims of so-called multiple discrimination. The report uses official figures to strip out the overlapping groups to calculate that nearly three quarters of people belong to one category or other. The biggest oppressed group is women, who constitute 51 per cent of the population and are protected by a range of legislation covering discrimination, equal pay and domestic violence. Ethnic minority men amount to 4 per cent; white disabled men 11 per cent; white male pensioners 5 per cent; and white, gay, able-bodied men, 2 per cent.

The report attacks the increasing tendency to judge crimes as more serious if they are committed against official victims -- so-called hate crimes. Police have been encouraged to give priority to such cases, which the Civitas report says is undermining equality under the law.

It cites the trial this year of the killers of Jody Dobrowski, a barman murdered on Clapham Common, South London, in October last year. Jailing the two men for 28 years, the judge said that the sentence would have been halved if they had not voiced any opposition to the victim's sexuality. "Is animosity to gays a worse motive than, for example, a calculated killing to silence a witness?" it asks.

It also states that claiming official victim status enables groups to silence critics, often using taking offence as a political tactic. The benefits of taking offence are so great in any debate, that it has encouraged the growth of "increasing touchiness" in Britain.

However, the report gives warning that seeking victim status can harm the victims, denying them personal responsibility by always blaming others and undermining their self-respect.

Recognize Victim Mentality (synonym for CHM)

Do a Google search for "victim mentality."

In general, victim mentality can be recognized by the following elements:

"When an archer misses the mark, he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bull's-eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim, improve yourself." -- Gilbert Arland

Benefits of Being a Victim

Conclusion

The five most important guidelines for becoming more successful:

  1. Persist with increasing your advantages and decreasing your disadvantages, and your "quantum leap to much greater success" is virtually assured.
  2. Use more of your mind/brain and use it at higher levels of consciousness.
  3. Become aware of "games" you've been playing compulsively and unconsciously and exit them.
  4. Don't get trapped by any "guru" who says he has "all the answers" -- take a range of steps recommended by different people.
  5. Continue moving forward for the rest of your life -- advancing toward your full potential requires your deliberate, conscious, and sustained effort.

It may be worth examining how the various Success Steps covered on this page fit into:

  1. Becoming Someone Who Can Succeed;
  2. Creating your own Operating System that Works;
  3. Creating Empowering Core Identity Beliefs.

Becoming Someone Who Can Succeed

Until you've taken the Quantum Leap to above the Success Threshold, you remain someone who cannot succeed, someone stuck on a path that makes success impossible, typically someone with a Victim Mentality and with a Reactive-Responsive Orientation, typically someone who compulsively and unconsciously plays self-destructive games, typically someone who is dominated in some areas of his/her life by his/her Addictive Beast/Failure Voice. To become Someone Who Can Succeed you need to:

  1. Increase your Advantages and Reduce your Disadvantages to the point that you make the Quantum Leap to above the Success Threshold.
  2. Increasing Advantages includes: Increasing your Desire for Success, Supercharging Your "Alpha Mind," Rebooting your Brain, Learning to Think Right, Using Afformations, Acquiring Mechanical Skills, Swinging your Bat, Doing Things Right, Learning to Apply your Power of Choice, and switching to the Creative Orientation.
  3. Reducing Disadvantages includes: Overcoming the common tendency to Overestimate your Level of Competence and Making a Realistic Assessment of Where You Are, Overcoming the Influence of your Addictive Beast/Failure Voice, Becoming aware of any Self-Destructive Games you've been Playing Compulsively and Unconsciously, and Exiting Them, Handling Unwanted Life Conditions and the Stuck Identities causing them, Overcoming Health Problems and Procrastination, Overcoming Victimizations of the past and the Victim Mentality they may have caused, Overcoming Learned Helplessness, and Transcending the Reactive-Responsive Orientation.

Creating your own Operating System that Works

An Operating System that Works includes the following:

  1. A High-Level, Never-Ending Meta-Instruction to to Increase your Desire for Success, Increase your Advantages, and Reduce your Disadvantages.
  2. Utilizing Silva UltraMind Techniques.
  3. Regularly Rebooting your Brain.
  4. Continuously Improving your Knowledge, Skills, and Tools Necessary for Success.
  5. Replacing ALL the Negatives mentioned on this page with Positives.
  6. Raise your Quit Threshold, Apply the Path of Least Resistance and the Small-Step-Progression Principle.

Creating Empowering Core Identity Beliefs

I suggest you use the following from Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring as an example for creating your own Empowering Core Identity Beliefs:

What About Religion?

Some people may ask:"What aspects of religion should I include in my Success Steps?"

Answer: If you think it important or essential to include religion in your Success Steps, I suggest you accentuate and focus on the positive. You could use Joel Osteen as an example -- do a Google search for "Joel Osteen." He has written a book Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential, which I haven't read. I found the following review on Amazon.com:

"Houston televangelist Joel Osteen is well qualified to write this book, having used the seven principles he shares to achieve his own "rags-to-riches" story. At the heart of Osteen's message is that achieving a successful, prosperous life of fulfillment can only occur when we stop worrying about the past or future to make the most of each present moment by using our God-given strengths and talents to achieve our goals. The key to doing so are the seven steps Osteen outlines: Enlarge Your Vision, Develop a Healthy Self-Image, Discover the Power of Your Thoughts and Words, Let go of the Past, Find Strength Through Adversity, Live to Give, and Choose to Be Happy. Mixing biblical teachings with his own personal experiences, Osteen explains each of these seven steps in an encouraging, optimistic manner that makes them accessible to anyone interested in principles of personal growth. Although written with a Christian slant, the seven steps Osteen shares will have value to anyone wanting to know more about practical steps of self-betterment, regardless of their denomination." -- Larry Trivieri Jr.

Jim Straw says, "In order to succeed, you must first "lose" your mediocrity." It would be more accurate to say, you must first "lose" (overcome) your Core-Helplessness.

Why do people fail?

According to Jim Straw:

There has been much written, and said, about why and how people succeed. The contention being that, in order to succeed, you must learn, and then apply, the principles and techniques used by others who have gained success.

But, knowing the principles and techniques used by others who have gained success doesn't qualify a person to succeed. If it did, all of those who have read and studied the various, and many, books, booklets, plans, and programs on the subject of SUCCESS would, by virtue of their knowledge thereof, be successful.

Statistically, 98% of the people in this country never reach a level of anything more than sustained mediocrity; only 2% ever really achieve success. - WHY?

The answer is simple. - They have never "qualified" for success, because they refuse to "pay their dues."

These people (the 98%) are so wrapped-up in "protecting" and "maintaining" the level of mediocrity they have achieved that they will not risk one iota of what they have.

It's like the young boy who, at long last, got his first pair of really fine shoes.

Now, these shoes were exceptionally fine. So fine, in fact, that the boy spent many hours wiping and shining them - while keeping them safe from scuffs, neatly wrapped in paper, in their box under his bed.

A number of opportunities presented themselves for the boy to wear the shoes, but he chose to safe-guard them and wore his older shoes instead. After all, if he wore them, he would run the risk of scuffing them or dulling their glittering shine.

When the day finally arrived, when the occasion was most important, the boy learned, to his disappointment, that his feet had grown and the shoes no longer fit him. (I gave that pair of shoes to a more needy neighbor - and, from that day forward, I have never again been afraid to lose anything.)

Unfortunately, most people are like that boy. - They read all of the books, booklets, plans, and programs about the principles and techniques used by others to gain success. As the boy did with the shoes, they let the opportunities to use what they have learned pass them by - or, they make a half-hearted start, but never continue past their first small and futile attempts.

Why do they hold back? - Because they fear losing what little they have. They "protect" their meager and mediocre position so well that they never lose it.

At retirement age, those people look back with pride at the fact that they have ventured little and lost nothing. But, not unlike the boy and his shoes, they learn, to their disappointment, that that which they protected so well will not sustain them after their retirement and they are forced to seek aid and assistance from their government, family and friends.

Those people have never "qualified" for anything better, because they have never "paid their dues."

If you haven't, yet, gained success, look around you. What are you protecting? If you lost it all tomorrow, would you really lose anything of great value?

People fail, not because they cannot succeed, but because they are unwilling to risk what they have. They "protect" their mediocrity until it is all they have left.

The struggle to achieve success is not unlike any great battle in any war. -- The victorious army is always the one that gives-up the position it has won in order to advance against a better, more advantageous position. Only the losing army stands and defends a mediocre position.

A young Lieutenant once asked a wise General, "Why should we try so hard to reach a position at the top of the hill? As we charge up the hill, our enemies will surely take the positions behind us, and we will lose what we have gained; even if we take the hill."

The General, a very wise man, replied, "Yes - but, it is much easier to charge down-hill. When we have taken the higher position, we will charge back down the hill and recover all that we have lost. Then, we will charge down the other side of the hill."

The people who make up the 2% that achieve success are forever charging up the hill - losing all behind them - and then charging back down the hill, on both sides, to regain anything they may have lost and achieve even more success.

Not unlike the losing army, most people will never succeed, because it would mean that they would have to give-up the mediocre position they have protected for so long.

In order to succeed, you must first "lose" your mediocrity. - Success doesn't happen any other way...

If you don't overcome your Core-Helplessness (if applicable), nothing else you do is likely to QUALIFY yourself for success. If you suffer from CHM, "just do it" is extremely unlikely to propel you toward success.

You gotta do it!

According to Jim Straw:

There is NO "secret" to success. -- And, that's the problem.

Most people who say they want to succeed, go around all their life looking for some "secret" that people like me are sure to know. They just know that if they ever learn that "secret" they will be successful, too. -- Ain't gonna happen because there ain't any secret.

All they need to do is start "doing" something. -- That's all it takes. -- Once they start "really" doing something ... other than searching for the "secret" to success ... whatever they are doing will expand and grow into the success for which they couldn't find the secret.

Over the past nearly 50 years in business, I have heard it thousands upon thousands of times from "success secret seekers" ...

"I ain't gonna get into no nickle and dime business. I want to make millions, not nickles and dimes."

So, they keep buying what they think are "secrets". They never "do" anything, longer than it takes to find out they didn't learn any secrets, they just learned how to "work" at something ... instead of making them rich. Then, they go on to the next "secret," hoping against hope that the new secret will "give" them the riches they seek (without doing anything other than knowing the "secret").

The funny thing is, they all seem to think they are better than me ... and all the other successful people ... because they honestly think that I just woke up one morning, learned the secret, and made a fortune. When, in pure fact, I started selling nickle and dime items, door to door, in my youth ... selling one item to one customer, one sale at a time, making a nickle or a dime on each sale.

As I matured, my endeavors expanded and grew ... changed course ... adapted to the ever changing economy ... moved onward and upward. Each instance of my growth predicated upon providing what my potential customers needed or wanted. Making sure that I gave more value in return for the value I received - and - even today, I still sell one item to one customer, one sale at a time.

The VAST MAJORITY of people who say they want to succeed, only want to succeed if they can make it all at once ... just one sale won't do it. They want big sales, or thousands of sales, immediately. -- So, when a new opportunity only produces a few sales, they move on rather than making those few sales over and over and over and over ... until those few sales have grown into thousands upon thousands of sales.

Most of them are looking for someone to help them do it, rather than looking for the tools they need to do it themselves.

If you want to succeed, "do" something. Let what you are "doing" lead you onward and upward until you have the success you seek. -- There are NO "secrets" to it.

P.S. -- Many people know the facts. -- Many people have the talent. -- Many people have the need. -- Many people have what it takes. -- But ... very, very few succeed because they are seeking the "secret" to success rather than doing something.

Raise Your Energy Level

In addition to the suggestions in Food, Mood and Money under Mood Levels, I recommend the "Five Tibetan Rites," not only as energy-boosting exercises, but also for their health and longevity benefits. (On Amazom.com, check out: Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth: Book 1 by Peter Kelder and The Five Tibetans: Five Dynamic Exercises for Health, Energy, and Personal Power by Christopher S. Kilham.)

About two thousand years ago, a group of Tibetan monks developed the Five Tibetan Rites by condensing 21 yoga exercises into 5 exercises that can be completed in 10-20 minutes a day.

For thousands of years, healing practitioners have maintained that the body has seven principal energy centers which correspond to the seven endocrine glands. These centers are also called "chakras." The Tibetan Rites help normalize hormonal balances between the chakras, thereby improving health, vitality, and slowing down the aging process.

Regular practice of these exercises relieves muscular tension and nervous stress, improves respiration and digestion, benefits the cardiovascular system, and leads to deep relaxation and well-being. The Five Tibetan Rites can be a powerful vehicle not only for enlivening the senses but also for generating and harnessing vital energy for self-transformation.

When all the endocrine glands are functioning in harmony, a person has more energy, more vitality, and less discomfort. Often when one gland is not functioning correctly, so too the other glands are not communicating properly with each other. Balanced hormones also tend to "rev up" Your sexual energy. Also, when the hormones are out of balance, you're more prone to mood swings and illness..

Following are some more benefits that have beed ascribed to the Five Tibetan Rites:

First, lie flat on the floor, face up. Fully extended your arms along your sides, and place the palms of your hands against the floor, keeping the fingers close together. Then, raise your head off the floor, tucking the chin against the chest.

As you do this, lift your legs, knees straight, into a vertical position. If possible, let the legs extend back over the body, toward the head; but do not let the knees bend. Then slowly lower both the head and the legs, knees straight, to the floor. Allow all the muscles to relax, continue breathing in the same rhythm. Breathe in deeply as you lift your legs and breathe out, as you lower your legs.

Rite 3 - Kneeling Posture

Kneel on the floor, with the body erect. The hands should be placed against the thigh muscles. Incline the head and neck forward, tucking the chin against the chest. Then, throw the head and neck backward, arching the spine.

As you arch, you will brace your arms and hands against the thighs for support. After the arching, return to the original position, and start the rite all over again. Breathe in deeply as you arch the spine, breathe out as you return to an erect position.

Rite 4 - Table

Sit down on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you and your feet about 12 inches apart. With the trunk of the body erect, place the palms of your hands on the floor alongside the buttocks. Then, tuck the chin forward against the chest. Now, drop the head backward as far as it will go. At the same time, raise your body so that the knees bend while the arms remain straight.

The trunk of the body will be in a straight line with the upper legs, horizontal to the floor. Then, tense every muscle in the body. Finally, relax your muscles as you return to the original sitting position, and rest before repeating the procedure. Breathe in as you raise up, hold your breath as you tense the muscles, breathe out completely as you come down. Continue breathing in the same rhythm as long as you rest between repetitions.

Rite 5 - Up/Down Dog

When you perform the fifth rite, your body will be face-down to the floor. It will be supported by the hands, palms down against the floor, and the toes in a flexed position. Throughout this rite, the hands and feet should be kept straight. Start with your arms perpendicular to the floor, and the spine arched, so that the body is in a sagging position.

Now, throw the head back as far as possible. Then, bending at the hips, bring the body up into an inverted 'V'. At the same time, bring the chin forward, tucking it against the chest. Breathe in deeply as you raise the body, breathe out fully as you lower it.

Rite 1 - Recovery Posture: Standing, for a few breaths, looking straight ahead (with eyes either open or closed), with the palms of the hands gently pressing the back of the thighs, helps to alleviate the momentary dizziness that is created, by the Whirling Dervish.

Rite 2 - Recovery Posture: This posture produces a fine amount of stretch, which will be similar to the position that is held at the end of the Table (Rite 4).

Rite 3 - Recovery Posture: As you complete this exercise:

Rite 4 - Recovery Posture: This posture produces a fine amount of stretch, at the end of the Table.

Rite 5 - Recovery Posture: A comfortable stretching posture is pleasant, for the end of this exercise:

Reboot Your Brain

John Reese was on a path that led him to a stage in his life where he was over $108,000 in debt. He felt depressed and suicidal. Then he stumbled on a "procedure" that enabled him to change direction to a new path that made success possible. He turned his life around, became a well-known and respected Internet marketer and a millionaire. He has since, over a period of about 15 years, refined the initial procedure into a "comprehensive method" you can literally use to "reboot your brain!"

In Step #1, I suggested an "online moneymaking scale" with a range of -10 to 0 to +10. I suggested that if you've been trying to make money online for some time, and you've been breaking even (overall neither making nor losing money), then you could rate yourself as "zero." If you've been earning $1,000 a month, you could rate yourself at "1." If you've been earning $10,000 a month or more, you could rate yourself at "10." If you've been losing money, then you should rate yourself with a negative number, depending on how much you've lost. If you rate yourself below "10" (i.e., earning less that $10,000 a month), then you may want to seriously consider "rebooting your brain!"

I want to emphasize some important points:

Do Rational Recovery's® "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course

Doing Rational Recovery's® "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course may be a watershed for you -- a major turning point in your life -- THE action that begins your advance to above the "success threshold" (or much higher above the success threshold, if you've already been operating above it).

Note if there's an "automatic thought" in your head along the lines, "I don't need this; it's a waste of time!" If you experience such a thought or hear such a "voice in your head," chances are that it's your "Addictive Voice."

It takes only only about 20-30 minutes to do the "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course. Do it now by clicking here and following the "Recover Now" link. Whether or not you're addicted to alcohol and/or drugs, it's vital that you do the "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course.

About 98% of people trying to make money online enjoy little or no success. If you're one of them, you may be addicted to things like negativity, a negative attitude, unproductive thought patterns, self-defeating habits, etc. -- factors that may play a major role in persistent failure. By doing the "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course, you can begin the process of moving yourself over the "success threshold." You can do it now by clicking here.

The "conventional addiction theory" is that "addiction is a disease." The "rational recovery theory" is that addiction is a choice. You have power of choice. You can choose to have another drink or not. You have the power to choose to never again drink alcohol. If you're addicted to cigarettes, you have the power to choose to stop smoking at any time... and then to stop immediately.

Note that the conventional addiction theory says that you're a victim at the effect or mercy of a disease. On the other hand, the rational recovery theory says that you're in control... you have the power of choice... you can change your behavior at any time. The conventional theory is disempowering; the rational theory is empowering.

Do a Google search for +addiction +choice.

What do you think of the distinction between "Your Beast" and "The Real You?" Have you been a victim of your "Beast Voice?"

It may be worth taking another look at the email from "R.T." to me:

"In all I've tried, I haven't made anything work. I'm not worth s_ _t for anything.

I cannot...
I've been searching, reading, and studying. I've seen sooooooooooo much, but I still know Nothing!
I'm sad, depressed, obsessed, and fruitless..."

You do the "Addictive Voice Recognition Technique®" Crash Course so you get to realize when thoughts like the above go around in your head, they come from "Your Beast" and not from the "Real You." You repeat the Crash Course until you're no longer the victim of your "beast voice," "addictive voice," or "failure voice." Success will become more likely for R.T. when his "Real I" does his thinking.
