You may have heard about the baby elephant that was tied with a 30-foot rope to a pole. So the baby elephant's "world" consisted of a circle with a diameter of 60 feet. Beyond this limit the baby elephant could not go.
The baby elephant became so accustomed to it's "60-foot limit" that when it grew up it never even tried to venture outside its "circle." The big elephant had no idea that it could snap the rope at any time and go where it wanted to.
You see, the limitation was in its mind...
The big elephant effectively used its own mind against itself to limit itself.
In your youth, some people may have "cursed" you by telling you that you would never be able to make a lot of money -- or any of an infinite number of such "limiting curses."
This may have resulted in you being "cursed" with a "small-money-mind" in the same way that the elephant was cursed with a "60-foot mind."
